ay back on Thanksgiving weekend of 2005, the NYC Meta held our first ever "Black Friday" tournament, played on the day after Thanksgiving. We have continued that tradition ever since, and this year will reach our 14th consecutive Thanksgiving weekend tournament. This is one of the longest running continuous tournaments in the history of A Game of Thrones, except for the World Championship (depending on how you view it, given the championship has actually changed locations, dates and formats) and KublaCon in California.

This year Red Saturday is serving as the Northeast Championship. The Championship is the apex of the 2018 Northeast Championship Tour (NECT). Throughout the year players from throughout the United States have traveled up and down the east coast to prove themselves. Now at Red Saturday, headlined by our seven NECT tour stop champions, we will crown our first Northeast Champion. Besides the new Northeast Championship, Red Saturday will continue with its fourteen year tradition of excellent and truly unique prizes, including custom artwork on cards, playmats, stone house cards, and more. We will also be holding a raffle with additional prizes drawn from all over the world.
