Nordic League Season 2 - "The Agenda is mine"
THE TOURNAMENT IS FULL!
For anyone who wants to join this tournament now or in the future (we will raise players to 28 for next season), let me know by @Zinnie in https://discord.gg/US7B3RkjPx
Rules
Players - 22 players can maximum join the tournament.
Format - Agenda draft - Every player gets to pick from a list of agendas. There is a picking order worked out from player ranking. The best ranked players will pick last in each pod (rank is depending on TJP points and how well a player did in season 1 of the league). When an agenda has been picked, that agenda is locked to the player which picked the agenda throughout the tournament (and no one else can pick that agenda).
Decks: Each player must build one deck with all the different faction with the agenda the player has drafted (in total 8 decks - one deck for Stark, Lannister etc...). You will play 1 match with each faction with your drafted agenda.
Rounds: We will play 8 rounds in the tournament (that way we all get to play with every faction).
Time Limit: 55 minutes. But if both players agree on playing without a time limit, that's also fine!
A round lasts: 1 full week. We do the pairing as soon as all matches are finished, with Sunday 2359 as final deadline for the pairing.
Deck building: We've got an unwritten rule (that's now kinda written 😄), which is to not hard counter against specific decks. A simple way of not being tempted to hard countering against the agenda you're playing, is to have a deck ready before the pairings are done.
Scheduling matches: You need to schedule your matches yourself. If your opponent doesn't answer your messages for scheduling, you are awarded a Win. If both party's are at fault for not scheduling their match, both players are awarded a Loss.
Use of Discord: Discord is used to give out information and schedule matches, so if your playing in this tournament; you have to use discord, as it's very time consuming for me to try to get hold of people on several different social media platforms each round.
