Welcome to another season of the Friendly Open online tournament series. The sixth and final event takes place on Saturday, August 10, at 13.00 GMT+0. That's afternoon time in Europe.
As usual, it will be 4 swiss rounds, plus a final if there is more than one undefeated player. Ten Thousand Ships is the last legal expansion, and Restricted List v1.11 applies. The final event will also contribute double points towards the season standings.
We have a couple of changes for this one. Chess clocks will be used in this event, to test how they work out in tournament play. If they prove problematic, they will be removed for next time.
Also, it will now be possible to earn "creativity points", by playing less-popular agendas. These will be calculated automatically (check discord for more information). This is to encourage players to move away from the established top decks in these casual events, but it is still each player's individual choice as to what to play. There will probably be a symbolic prize for whoever wins the "creativity title" in the end. :)
